Cinnamon Cream Cheese Roll
Stuffing :
225 g full cream cheese, softened
30 g powdered sugar, sifted
Half a teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
Assembly:
1 tube (8) refrigerated crescent roll dough (or 1 sheet of puff pastry, cut into 8 rectangles)
50 g granulated sugar
1.5 tsp powdered cinnamon
2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter (for brushing butter)
Available trims:
Dust with a little powdered sugar
Drizzle with maple glaze or caramel
Preparation method

Preheat and Preparation:
Preheat oven to 190 °C (375 ° F). Line a baking sheet with baking paper or a silicone baking sheet mat.
To make the cream cheese filling:
In a small bowl, beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth, creamy, and grain-free. Spare.
Prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture:
In another small bowl, combine granulated sugar and powdered cinnamon. Stir well.
Assemble the wraps:
Spread out the crescent dough and divide it into 8 triangles (or, use rectangle puff pastry if preferred).
Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the wide end of each triangle, leaving a small edge at the tip.
Sprinkle the cream cheese layer with a sufficient amount of cinnamon sugar mixture (about half a teaspoon).
Roll up and place:
Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle tightly towards the tip. Place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet with each triangle about 1 inch apart.
Brush and bake:
Lightly brush the top of each burrito with melted butter. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and fluffy.
Finish and enjoy:
Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with frosting (if desired). Enjoy warm for better texture and flavor.
