Preparation:

In a bowl, soak the raisins in the rum for 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Place the bread slices in a large bowl and pour in the milk. Set aside for 10 minutes to soften the bread.

 

3 ️ ⃣ Mix ingredients:

In a separate bowl, break up the eggs and add the sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg (if using). Add this mixture to the hydrated bread and mix well. Stir in sultan fruit and rum.

 

4 ️ ⃣ Bake pudding:

Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Bake at 180 °C (350 ° F) for 45-50 minutes or until odor free after insertion with a toothpick.
