🧁 Mom’s Pound Cake 🍰

📝 Ingredients:
-360 g wheat flour
-600 g caster sugar
-225 g unsalted butter, softened
-5 large eggs, room temperature
-240 ml whole milk, room temperature
-1 tablespoon vanilla extract
-1 teaspoon almond extract (optional)

Step 1: Preheat the oven.
-Preheat the oven to 160 °C. Grease and flour a 25 cm long baking pan or tube pan.
Step 2: Prepare the mixture

Production instructions
Prepare the chocolate cake:
In a large bowl, add all cake ingredients (except orange liqueur) and beat with an electric mixer for 2 minutes.
Pour batter into two oiled and floured 10-inch cake pans.
Bake at 325 ° F (165 °C) for 25-30 minutes until smell free when inserted through the middle with a toothpick.
Place the cake on a grid rack to cool completely.
Pierce the cake layers with a fork, then pour 1 ounce of orange liqueur (optional) over each cake layer. Let it saturate.
Prepare the orange cheesecake:
In a mixing bowl add cream cheese and sugar and beat until smooth.
